As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in their campus and community. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events.
Some of our events held during the fall semester include:
Sisterhood Retreat - A day filled with fun games, workshops, and sisters!
Theme Parties - Every semester the Lambda chapter hosts a theme party for each member and a guest, some pasty themes include: naSKar, Go for the Gold, Sigma Nappa, and Decades!
The UltraViolet Gala - Our annual fall philanthropy event, which raised over 10,000 dollars for the Alzheimer's Association this year.
Our SKary Halloween Party - A night of trick-or-treating and games for our alumni and their families.
Semi-Formal - In addition to our Theme Parties, there is a semi-formal every semester and is a time for all our members and their dates to have fun with music, desserts, and dancing.
Founder's Day Brunch - An annual community brunch to honor our founders and the amazing organization they created, held this year on November 4th.
