My name is Olivia Lipari and I am incredibly honored to be the president of the Lambda chapter of Sigma Kappa! Lambda was established at Cal over 100 years ago and since then thousands of women have lived Sigma Kappa’s values of personal growth, service, friendship, and loyalty as well as shared these values with the Cal community.
I'm incredibly proud of the women of this chapter, past and present. We all work together to balance our academic, social, and extracurricular involvement. Being part of this sisterhood means supporting one another in all of our endeavors and helping one another achieve our dreams together. Whether that is through a late-night group study session or a having a dance party in the living room because we all just need a break, we can always count on our sisters to be there for us.
Deciding to go through recruitment and ultimately finding my home at Sigma Kappa has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college careers. I've found life-long friends, a community at a sometimes overwhelmingly large campus, and a network of alumni who would drop anything to help out a sister. The women in this chapter are strong, intelligent, and compassionate, and I'm proud to call them my sisters. We have so much to be proud of at Sigma Kappa and I hope this site gives you a glimpse of our sisterhood.
